For their 88,000-square-foot HQ relocation to Willis Tower, PBD worked closely with GATX to create a work environment that aligns with their work, reflects the industry in which they operate and celebrates their 120+ year history as a global railcar leader. The use of traditionally industrial materials such as steel, copper, wood and concrete are reimagined into a sophisticated aesthetic with purposeful branded moments integrated throughout. Open, flexible spaces are counter-balanced with quiet, enclosed spaces resulting in a variety of work settings that intentionally encourage choice throughout the organization, across all disciplines.
