Project Awarded Following a Design Competition

The American Hospital Association selected Partners following a design competition among a number of firms. Located on five floors in a new Chicago high-rise office building, the AHA space was designed under USGBC LEED Silver standards. It was our pleasure to engage with an organization whose long tradition of flawless service to members also includes a commitment to the comfort and functionality of employee workspaces.

Inspired by the Work Ethic of AHA

The Partners team connected immediately to the people and goals of AHA. We helped AHA transition to its new headquarters with these solutions:

  • Focused on an aesthetic both timeless and elegant
  • Created a thoughtful, open environment filled with natural light
  • Included ancillary “outside the office” spaces for employees to congregate and refresh
  • Maximized transparency through spatial arrangement of offices, workstations and ancillary functions
  • Optimized the use of translucent, reflective materials in concert with warm wood tones and natural materials to create surroundings that are “wellness” in feel
