Clark Hill is a full-service international law firm operating across more than 30 offices, with a culture built around collaboration, entrepreneurial energy, and client-driven practice. When the firm undertook a multi-market office repositioning initiative, each location presented an opportunity to create workplaces that reflect its growth ambitions while genuinely serving the people who work in them.
Partners by Design led interior design across all locations, working from a shared visioning framework anchored in four design attributes — elevated, timeless, character, and balance. The resulting spaces move away from the traditional law firm aesthetic in favor of environments that are polished yet casual, professional yet comfortable. Earthy materials, warm wood tones, soft neutral finishes, and strategic color carry through each office, creating a cohesive identity across markets without sacrificing local character.
Programming supports a full range of workplace needs, including private offices, multi-size conference rooms, huddle and team rooms, and dedicated war rooms. Reception areas establish an elevated first impression through custom desk design, layered pendant lighting, and thoughtfully selected materials. Conference serveries and catering pantries support client hospitality with the same level of care applied throughout. Work cafés anchor the social core of each floor, while wellness rooms and office services complete the support environment.
Finish selections were developed in two distinct palette directions for each office, layering carpet, hard surface, wallcovering, acoustic felt, and tile to reinforce the warmth and character called for in the design brief. The overall approach balances a timeless aesthetic with enough flexibility to support hoteling, collaboration, and growth as Clark Hill continues to expand its national presence.
