Partners by Design was recently approached to design a new, high-tech 283,000 square foot office space located in Bannockburn, Illinois for a leading global biotechnology company focused on serving people affected by rare diseases and highly specialized conditions. Partners by Design was challenged to design a space to match brand and guiding principles: provide diverse work spaces, design for flexibility, and provide an abundance of natural light. Much of the space is comprised of an open office environment with only a few private offices, emphasizing the large ratio of conference rooms to people. Amenity spaces include a full service cafeteria, 200+ seat conference/multi-purpose room, credit union, dry cleaner, and a work-out room for employees.
