Walk off the elevator of the 61st floor of the Willis Tower and notice a red neon light that is drawn around the corner to the reception doors, and step into Tressler LLP’s new, relocated space. Reflective of a ‘cool’ law firm, Tressler modernized the traditional dark wood aesthetic one would see at a typical law firm and added a level of transparency to their practice. When discussing the overall design, it was important to keep four attributes in mind: stay true to the nature of the business, define a global brand with rich history, utilize state of the art technology, and leverage natural materials with unique details. The existing perimeter offices, reception location, drywall ceilings, marble flooring, and most of the suite’s existing ceiling grid were all reused, and previously-designed corner offices are now open areas. These spaces encourage more teaming and all-staff collaboration, and the amazing Lake Michigan views are hard to beat.
Tressler LLP is an award-winning, modern law firm headquartered in Chicago with offices in eight cities across the country.
